Grady Burnett Walsh
Born August 15, 2007, 4:02 am; Cedars Sinai, Los Angeles; 8 lbs, 15 oz; 21 inches long. Mom's doing fine.

A few nights before, it didn't happen, but it looked like it could.
I couldn't help myself - I took a close up.
On the 14th, our doctor, Peyman Banooni, told us we should induce.
As usual, I was ready for inducing labor. I am wearing pajamas.
Before we went to the hospital.
At the door.
Wait a minute. Let's have a picture together.
The first seconds.
Still the first seconds.
8 lbs 15oz - a big boy. Heather dilated to 9.5 cm before going for the epidural.
They put a hat on him.
Mom and boy.
HEY!
I think about now I decided he'd be a boxing champ. What a mug.
He has a cone head. But the hats camoflage that cute thing!
He gets his first bath. I'm sure I was a lot less graceful when I had mine.
What a boy!
Then he got comfortable.
Then, he slept.
And got a snack.
And slept.
And slept.
And slept.
Then he woke up.
And went back to sleep.
I love this kid.
How can she do what she just did and look like this? I have no idea.
Beautiful.
Beautiful x 2.
Grandma Robison showed up at noon.
She can't believe it either.
Still can't believe it.
Whoa!
Wow!
More sleeping.
More sleeping.
More sleeping.
Hope he sleeps like this at home!
I was there. See?
