eKeys Evolution MIDI Keyboard- half the size of your leg, really it's not a toy!

I have always been into music, and i have always loved to make my own music with my guitar etc. Also i loved to play around with the MIDI keyboards at school and make up interesting sequences on CuBase (our school has PC's so they didn't have Garageband etc which is what i use now), and i started to get into this so i have been saving (well trying to save) up lots of money for a decent MIDI keyboard.. come christmas my money disappears because im running around trying to buy all my friends and family decent presents and before you know it my money has vanished (as i have tried to explain in my 5 bad habits article). So im writing down on my xmas list 'MIDI keyboard' in hope santa might bring me one.
To be honest i knew these things can be very expensive so i was trying to find a good but cheaper one with my step dad and see if there were any good deals.
Anyway come Christmas day i found he has bought me one of these small things you can see in the picture above, and believe it or not it isn't a toy, it really is a MIDI keyboard! In fact it's the eKeys Evolution MIDI Keyboard- half the size of your leg, really it's not a toy! The keys are about as long and thin as my fingers, if not smaller. It's so cute though, and if you are just starting out and thinking of getting into this i think it's a great idea to get one of these, it's much cheaper then the professional ones, and it's a great way to see if you enjoy doing it for a while and if it's worth buying a proper one. This is the reason my step dad bought me one of these, to see if im not going to get bored within a month, and if im not then i can trade it in for a proper bigger and better one :-)

Because the only problem with it being so small is there isn't enough octives to play everything all at once on this keyboard, but im still having much more fun with this on Garageband instead of trying to use my laptop keypad as a piano hehe.

So this is something i would like to recommend to you if you're interested in this type of stuff or if you're thinking about getting into it but not sure weather to buy a really expensive one straight away..
I found the item here if you want to have a peak, it's a nifty little thing!
