About This Site

This site started as an idea to create a fansite for the group of Beesball fans who sit in Section 10 of Russ Chandler Stadium and also as a personal project to help me learn basic web page design, and I still use it as a sort of laboratory for trying new tricks as I learn them. If you explore the site, you'll see all sorts of examples of webpage and html stuff, such as tables, hyperlinks, horizontal rules, image maps, graphic elements, section anchors, etc.

The main focus for this site is to provide some basic information on the Tech Baseball program, to assist people new to Beesball in finding the stadium and nearby parking, to provide travel tips for Beesball fans wanting to travel to away games, and to serve as a forum to present some of my Beesball photography.

This site is not affiliated with GA Tech or its baseball program or athletic department in any official capacity.  The official GA Tech athletic site is at RamblinWreck.com, and the official GA Tech Baseball program site is located here.

Click here to send me an email message.  Praise, constructive criticism, and good suggestions and ideas are always appreciated!

Why "The Rusty C"?  Well, that is the nickname that fans of the GA Tech Baseball program have given to Russ Chandler Stadium, where Beesball is played. The stadium is named after A. Russ Chandler, III, who is one of the baseball program's major financial benefactors and who financed the original Russ Chandler Stadium in 1985. Aluminum bleachers and building materials were used extensively in the current and past incarnations of the stadium, thus  "The Rusty C" moniker was born. I know: aluminum doesn't really rust, but the nickname stuck.
