OUR 1 YR ANNIVERSARY!
Yes, yes, I've been really really bad with the
blog lately. Sorry, we've been sooo busy. But I'll try my best to post fresh
material every day or so...
Well, about twenty-something days ago, on June 30th, it was our 1-yr anniversary. It was an awesome year which just flew right by. Dina and I decided to take a weekend trip to San Diego and just RELAX for a couple of days. The one place we were curious to visit was the San Diego Wild Animal Park. If you've been reading the blog for awhile, you might recall we went to the San Diego Zoo a while back. Which did we like better? The zoo! Maybe it was because it was SO HOT on the day we went (about 100 degrees), or just all the walking you have to do here, I'm not sure, all I know is that after 4 or 5 hours, we were more than ready to go back to the hotel, we were EXHAUSTED!
We stayed at the "W" hotel, which we recommend, except for their poor room service:( They charge you a bunch for a strawberry waffles and make you wait an hour and then it's cold?!?! DONT THINK SO!....they brought me another quickly and breakfast was 20% off. I think it shouldve been 1/2 off......but on a brighter side....you must try Rice. Its a super cool restaurant attached to the W and our dinner was delicious, especially the dessert....monte cristo banana dumplings....they are U N B E L I E V A B L E!
All in all the weekend was great, we had fun, we relaxed and we slept in and watched LOST for 3 hours! WooooHoooo! I have to thank my lovely wife Dina very, very much for making this an incredible first year of marriage! Thanks baby!
