Dogs Are Now Painting — Or Painting Has Gone to the Dogs

And why shouldn't Rover try his hand at painting? Surely he can't do any worse than Jackson Pollock and the rest of the Advanced Finger Painting and Paint Flingining Fraternity. But that's exactly what we have, according to talk show host Dennis Prager.

Of course, it should be obvious that the whole modern non-representational art cult that has dominated artistic circles during the last half century or so is largely a fraud. It's a revolt from those most annoying of all annoying human beings: those ill-constituted creatures who desire to be artists and "express" themselves yet who, sad to say (or maybe not sad to say), don't have any talent. Smoldering with worm-eaten envy and resentment against their betters, these soulless monsters wish to drag everyone down to their sub-mediocre level. They are aesthetic nihilists and it would all be for the good if the lot of them were rounded up and made to do something useful, such as shovel snow or pick up garbage. That is about all the are good for.
