 My name is Scott Stoel and I have been working with fonts for the past twelve years as a graphics designer, writer, illustrator, pre press technician, and as of late, creating my own typefaces. I started in desktop publishing in 1993 with a Macintosh Classic and a copy of Pagemaker 3 as an associate editor at South Dakota Magazine. Currently I am employed at ImageNation Graphics Printing, a large format and digital print shop in Sioux Falls, SD.
I have known fellow Font Geek Benjamin Levisay for many years now. As well as being a contributor to articles here on FontGeek.net, I was a contributor to his last book, OS X Secrets, Panther Edition published by Wiley Publications.
I fill the remainder of my waking hours as a freelance designer, illustrator, pre-press consultant and father of three.
