Oblivion

Oblivion, a game that plays on the XBOX 360 (and possibly other platforms) has become an activity on which I'm spending way too much of my free time. I'm addicted, but I think the point on the curve where time spent playing meets the inverse curve of regret over time spent playing is rapidly approaching. I hope. I have too many books to read (and write!), space advocacy schemes to dream up, and quality time with my wife to enjoy, to spend another week chasing down ancient relics, old books, and heirs of shattered kingdoms.

Unfortunately, someone just told me how to purchase a wizard's spire for my character to call home, somewhere where he can research alchemy, summon elementals, and view the world from on high (and not to mention teleport between various mage's guilds). Sigh. The tower is likely to keep me busy for a while longer, it seems. Look for me in the Great Forest tracking down a Conjurer who can reveal the high arcana of daedra magic...
