Psicrystal Substitutions

magazine issue 345 contains a Class Acts article I wrote describing
psicrystal substitutions. Psicrystal substitutions allow a psionic character who
possesses a psicrystal to unlock additional abilities from her companion
crystal. Abilities vary by the personality of the
psicrystal.
For instance, if a character with a single-minded psicrystal completes the lesser unlocking ritual, once per day she can spend a swift action to attempt to regain her psionic focus on a roll of 11 or better on a d20. Handy, that.
