Court Rules no Whistle Blower Free-Speech Right


This Supreme Court ruling doesn't bode well for accountability in this country. Problems in business and governments proliferate inversely with the culture of accountability. Where accountability reigns, people who routinely make bad decisions are called on it, and eventually fired if their performance doesn't improve. Where there is no accountability, bad decisions run riot.

Each time an avenue that allows employees, stock-holders, or citizens to discover a bad decision is sealed, a manager, a CEO, or a government official is more likely to escape accountability. And more likely to make another bad decision in the future. And another, and another...
