The World Through Google Ads

I'm experimenting with Google Adsense.

Funny thing is the ads that pop up, more often than not, usually typify the very thing I'm pointing out as bad. For instance, right now I'm glaring at an ad that leads you to a site where homeschooling parents can buy creationism text books. No need to even worry about those kids being contaminated with any actual science in (as yet) secular public schools.

Luckily, as these things show up, I can filter them out (though it takes a few hours even after I add an offending ad to my filter). Maybe this means I need to talk more about Dungeons & Dragons and so on, so that ads more 'relevant' to my site pop up. But really, what is relevant? This site is obviously not a 'D&D' site in the traditional sense.

Anyhow...

Maybe I'll just keep things as they are. It's interesting to see what I dredge up using the Adsense algorithms. I've already filtered out 'meetRepublicanSingles.com' , 'weLoveGW.com' , and even some horrible ads that pushed t-shirts making fun of stuff going on at Gitmo.

What else will I unearth?
