Founded in Charlotte, NC in 1999, Life's Pavilion focuses on education of "after career" lifestyle issues.
Recent Experience: We have been engaging with individuals, corporations (including: Snyder Packaging, Carolina Tractor and Duke Energy), Church Group and Civic Organizations.

About Your Speaker: Maarten J. Pennink guides your workshops with the voice of experience. A former engineer, personnel manager and business owner, he discovered the importance of planning, when he took early retirement at age 60. Since then he has fulfilled most retirees' dreams of travel, and has become an active volunteer with such organizations as United Way and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Council on Aging.
Through self study, by taking classes at UNCC and CPCC as well as involving himself in conferences for the aging, he has gained extensive education in total retirement planning. Maarten is a Board Member of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Council on Aging; and Member of the Advisory Board at the Center for Professional and Applied Ethics at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
"Based
on the favorable reactions of the seminar participants, I whole heartedly recommend
Maarten's approach to those considering introducing the emotional and mostly
non-financial retirement issues to their personnel."
Shirley Woodruff, HR Manager,
Snyder Packaging, Concord, NC
"Maarten brings passion, heart, and soul to the matter of retirement
— elements that are so often overlooked when we come to
that time of our lives. These elements are essential to include
in the retirement planning mix, and I am delighted that someone
is enhancing our way of viewing the "Later Years in Life."
