This site has undergone many transformations, since I started it back in 1998. Originally it was hosted by Angelfire at no cost to me. I learned HTML by reading about it on the web, and the first web pages were just typed in a word processor. Eventually I bought CuteHTML which color codes HTML tags and CuteFTP which transferred file to Angelfire much quicker than using the Angelfire tools. This was how it remained until 2002, when I realized how Microsoft was stifling technology, and since I put my money where my mouth is , I decided to find something other than a Windows PC to use for my computing needs. I eventually decided to buy an Apple iBook, and use OmniWeb to create my web pages. I loved using my new iBook so much that I decided to get a little more serious with web site developement, so droped some coin on some kick-butt web site software for my Mac called Macromedia Studio MX. Studio includes a great group of programs including Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash. (Hands down, Macromedia Studio is the best program I have ever had the pleasure of using for any computing purpose. It is powerful, complex and yet fairly simple to use. It can do the mondain, to the extreme and it has excellent help documentation and tutorials that are easy to find and well writen.) Eventually Angelfire started putting tons of ads and pop-ups on my site, so I decided to move my web site someplace where I wouldn't have these nuisances. I considered Hostway which offers you the option of Linux servers (this is were I have my work's web site hosted) in liu of Microsoft servers, but eventually decided to buy a .mac account and use the 100MB (now 250MB) of hosting space that comes with that service.

That is the way it stands today, my web pages are written and managed with Studio MX for Mac, and hosted by .Mac.
