Ingredients

  • 250 gram sugar
  • 205 gram almonds, finely grated
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 ½ ounce chocolate, dark (100 gram), melted

Directions

Put first 4 ingredients into a mixing bowl, mix.

Mix under the stiffly beaten egg white.

Add the melted chocolate, mix.

Roll out dough on sugar (instead of flour due to stickiness). 5 mm thick (~1/4").

Cut out forms.

Put on baking sheetl. Let dry a few hours.

Bake for 5 minutes at 250 degree celcius (482 deg. F) on the middle rack of the preheated oven (rather less to preserve softness inside).

Notes

Might also work with hazelnuts instead of almonds. ( Unbedingt in einer gut schliessenden Blechbuchse aufbewahren )
