A special election was held in Gaffney Hall to raise $550.00 annually for 5 years to light the streets of Lyons Falls by electricity.
Charles Bostwick built the Sheldon block about 1905. Clothing store downstairs and the Bostwick family lived upstairs. Mr. Bostwick was a tailor and made mens suits. Fred Sheldon worked for him later buying the business. Later the Post Office was located in the same building.
