There were many first time events for both of us. We were able to have hour long massages, hot tub soak under the stars, mineral spring soak, float trip down the French Broad River, short walk on the AT, and a spa treatment. All of the events were so relaxing, almost to the point were we almost fell asleep. Yes I do agree, a honeymoon does the body good! |

Our main priority for this trip was to get married, a private ceremony of just us two, and then to make Uncle Sam happy we would then get married by the Justice of Peace. For our ceremony, we said our own written vows and lit a unity candle. Our wedding rings we personally designed by us, in which we incorporated symbolism of what marriage means to us. Everything went perfect; yippee were married! |

Of course the food was a major highlight. Even though everything was delicious, we learned that next time we have to build up a tolerance and prepare for buffet style of eating. Every meal was excellent with so much quality and quantity, needless to say the same goes for the drinks! One highlight was the morning room service champagne breakfast. We have a funny story about the room service, ask us some time. Also, I must confess that the beer battered tempura chicken trips with a horseradish sauce was one of the top foods. I am really turning into a Southerner! |
