My First Agility Dog

Linda’s Place on the Web . . .

Welcome to my website featuring my three agility dogs Zeke, Duncan, and Ralph. We trial regularly in the state of Arizona and also attend trials in New Mexico and California.

I’ve been involved in the sport of agility for almost 10 years now and each year the hobby consumes more and more of my time, but it keeps me as well as my dogs active and enjoying life!

When I heard about the sport, I had a Border Collie, Cait. I had done a lot of herding with her, but I moved and stock was no longer available to me. I heard about this new sport agility and thought I would give it a try. Cait learned the skills easily, but her heart and soul was in herding and it just wasn't the sport for her. She did teach me quite a bit about agility, but I knew I needed a dog that I could start out in agility as a pup. Well, what do you know. One day, in 1997, a stray pup was sitting in front of my office door. When I took him home, I found that he loved to run and could he ever jump! I knew I had my agility dog.

Cait lived her life out happily doing some agility. She loved to go swimming at ASU Research Park and even got to swim in the Pacific Ocean on one of Zeke's agility adventures.
