The Acme Jazz Company was a five piece jazz combo (singer, trombone, piano or guitar, bass, and drums) which plaed jazz of many kinds: swing, bop, ballads, latin, blues, fusion. We played around the Lawrence, Kansas area.

In 2000, we recorded five tunes as a demo. Here's a ballad from that demo, written by the trombonist:

Indian Jasper (mp3, 3.6 MB)

Personnel for this recording was Ardy Ramberg, Lindsey Spratt, Mel Smith, Michael Paull (Bass), and Jerry Stubbs.

Jersey Bounce (m4a, 5MB): a swing tune from way back.

Personnel for these recordings was Ardys Ramberg, Lindsey Spratt, Mel Smith, Steve Kapp, and Harry Miller.
