2) The next step seems cruel but believe me, it is all for the best! Any areas of unstable gluey latex have to be removed with a sharp knife. If you are a child then I suggest that you seek help from an adult for this part, knives need to be used responsibly. If the model's leg wires have broken, then cut off the leg at the point of the break and insert new wires to support the leg. I use several thicknesses of thin wire wound together and glued in with a solvent based clear adhesive. Again, I suggest adult help here as some glues give off nasty fumes. Make sure you are working in a well ventilated area. |
