.................. |
| CHAYA: For Health
What is chaya? Just real good food. Chaya is a precolumbian vegetable which looks, cooks and tastes just like sweet, succulent, mild-flavored spinach. Chaya is, simply, the most nutritious foodstuff on the planet. An one ounce serving will supply you with over 400% of your daily calcium requirements in an absorbable form, a phenomenal amount of potassium, magnesium and other minerals. It contains as much vitamin C as 10 oranges and as much protein as a Porter House Steak. Disease? Try the chaya!

| CHAYA: For Wealth |
Native to Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo in southern Mexico, chaya is described in the Chronicles of Conquest as a food staple and a main dish offered to the Conquistadores when they first landed on the island of Cozumel. It is now virtually unknown outside of the dinner tables of Mayan & Yucatec Maya families. ChayaMaya is a traditional Mayan cooperative composed of impoverished Yucatec Mayan women from Isla Mujeres who have incorporated under ChayaMaya, S.A. de C.V. to bring chaya to you.
