Lone Oak Campsites
Christmas Snow: August 7, 2004
On Saturday afternoon we had a planned 2pm snow storm!

The North Canaan Volunteer Fire Department helped us make our storm.
The line formed around 1pm. Campers of all ages were ready to slide!
At 2pm the "snow" (water and Dawn dish detergent) started.
Our snow is white and slippy; perfect for some summer sledding or sliding!
Katelyn and her friends smile for a picture after going down the slide.
Kids played in the snow at the bottom of the slide.
The smaller kids had their own area to slide.
Heather chose to sit and play in the snow.
Malyssa enjoyed sliding!
Zach went head first!
Jeffery took a little bath.
The big kids and adults were able to line up with about 15 people total ...
... at the sound of the whistle they would run and slide!
Everyone had a great time!
Ryan wore his goggles so he wouldn't get the soapy snow in his eyes.
Dante and Eli.
Fawn, Somer, Alex and Cooper.
Kassie, Kori and Blisse.
Goggles were a bt hit today!
Everyone loved the slide ...
... whether they went down on their bottoms ...
... or on their bellies!
At the end their was a nice big water fight!
