Hawaiian Activities: July 24 & 25, 2004
This weekend there were many themed events including our very own Hawaiian Luau by the pool!

HULA HOOP CONTESTS
Andrew did a great job.
This girl Hula Hooped for a very long time!
This boy won a contest for Hula Hooping the longest.
Anthony showed us how to Hula Dance.
Everyone had a great time!
One contest required the kids to keep their arms raised!
Another contest was spinning the hoop in their arm.
They were so good ...
... that we asked them to stand on one foot.
X MARKS THE SPOT TREASURE HUNT
The kids had to dig for puzzle pieces in the volleyball court.
Each team had to find buried 16 pieces.
Gradually they were able to build a puzzle.
On the nack of the puzzle was a poem to lead them to the hidden prize.
Eli, Nate and Zach.
The poem read ... Step On Up, Watch Your Head,
... Down You Go, Your Treasures Below!
The hidden treasure was under the slide.
The first team to finish ran to find the hidden treasure.
The all dug together to find the treasure.
The treasure chest was full of gold coins and free ice cream cone certificates.
TUBE RELAY RACES
Donny was in the lead for most of the race.
Larry put up a good fight but he wasn't fast enough.
John was tired after a long race.
