"Mothers Don't Have To Race" Race: May 7, 2005
Kids ran a race for their moms and each mom received a gift!

Ready, set, go!
First, the kids had to clean up the toys.
Next, they had to sweep the ball through the cones.
Michelle swept her ball as fast as she could!
Then, each child had to "jump hurdles" for their mom.
Steven went right over both hurdles.
Amanda crawled under the second hurdle.
And Zach rolled right under!
Next, the kids had to do the laundry.
They had to pick up all of the clothes.
Javier grabbed them all at once!
And then they had to throw them in the basket.
Finally, the kids got a sweet treat!
They had to gather all of the scattered candy!
And last but not least ...
... a kiss for mom!!
Fawnie ran so fast that her candy hit mom first!
Amanda gave her big sister a kiss.
The 9 and under age group.
Zach won 1st place and Eli won 2nd.
The 10 and over age group.
Everyone won a gift to give their mom.
All of the Moms smiled for a picture.
Amanda, Fawn and Michelle.
