Media Choices Can Be Confusing!
I hope this helps to sort things out.

First, remember that you don't need to use everything - look at what's available and use what you think will help you.

1. My MCC (Formerly called WebCT).
This is a course management program that is easily accessed from the MCC website (http://www.massasoit.mass.edu) Under Students and Faculty, choose My MCC login. You will use your Banner login and password. (See New User Protocol below.) It contains the online gradebook, videos, and a set of practice quizzes for each exam. You may take these quizzes as many times as you would like. If you earn a score of 80% or better on a quiz it will count as a bonus point on the exam, up to 5 bonus points per exam. The score reported to the online grade book is the most recent score, not the best score, so be sure that the last time you submit a quiz it has a grade of 80% or better.
This is where I will post your grades, so you can keep track of your progress in the course .
This is also where I will post announcements and send you email, so please check it regularly.

2. My personal web site (http://homepage.mac.com/lkollett/MCC)
This has no access code and contains links to useful sites related to anatomy and physiology, sample tests and copies of all course materials. It also has information about access codes to various text and lab manual sites. There is a link to this from My MCC.

3. My A&P Course Compass
This is a site provided by the textbook publisher. It requires an access code that comes with your text, and a course ID which is on my web site and on your course materials. It contains some excellent study aids, including flash cards, a dictionary and activities related to each system. You can also purchase access on line with a credit card if you are using a used textbook. There is a link to this from CE6 and from my web site.

4. My A&P (Practice Anatomy Lab or PAL)
This is a new site that requires an access code that comes with the lab manual. You should also receive it on a disc with the new lab manual. It requires a course ID which is cm537200 and also posted on my web site. It has excellent photos of lab models and dissections. You can purchase access online with a credit card if you don't have a new lab manual.
