Sophia is a Bernese Mountain Dog. I had the privilege of adopting her April 11, 2001. She had been purchased at a breeders auction by a regional rescue group that works to keep puppies from becoming breediing factories for area puppy mills. These pictures are from my first 24 hours with her. She is sweet and affectionate and very silly.

She found the camera terribly intrusive.	She was willing to put up with it, but you can hear the sigh.	Enough is enough.	Alright already.
