Sophia continues to grow like crazy. teeth like crazy, eat like crazy and drive me crazy.
Most of the time she is an absolute sweetheart, but there's that small percentage of time ....
After several rounds of antibiotics, her cough is almost gone, but it will likely be a while before I will know what all of her health issues are. Several of the Bernese auctioned in the same group had very low vWD factors, we'll wait to test her until it's time to get her spayed.

| She loves to settle down in the yard and challenge me to find a way to get her moving again. Especially when it's time for me to go to work. | And she's very good at ignoring me -- but Lord help me if I think I can ignore her when she wants attention! | She can get kind of impatient if I don't open the back door quickly enough. ;-) | My younger son was visiting for Mother's Day and was immediately assimilated. |

|
| I didn't have a chance to adjust the shutter speed, although I'm not sure it would have made much difference. | It wouldn't have mattered what the shutter speed was -- sometimes she's too quick for her own feet. | The vet promised to keep a good supply of the 40-lb. bags of dog food in stock. | She eats a lot. A LOT. |

| Sometimes it seems like she could stay like that for hours. | But she loves to climb up and down the rocks in the back yard, too. | She does enjoy hanging around in the yard. | |

| And eating the lawn. | In two minutes flat, she had won my son's heart. | How could anyone not fall in love with this little imp? Okay, so 40 pounds isn't exactly little, but it's little for the adult she will be. | She doesn't understand how we could eat or drink anything that we're not willing to share with her. |

|
| She does occasionally pause to ponder her next adventure. | On rare occasion, she will cooperate unexpectedly. | She's always ready -- I just never know for what. ;-) | Lots of stuff to explore. |

| The rope toy is in a lot better shape than some of my shoes... | The shower is one of her favorite places to rest. And she'll still fit there comfortably for another month or so. | She really doesn't understand why she can't chew on the black thing in front of my face. | "Dang it, quit messing with that thing and let's go play!" |

| In case she didn't ensnare him emotionally, she knew she could entangle him with the leash. | I had no idea how far moisture can fly off a dog's tongue. | What a sweetie. | In case I kick her out of my shower, she will deign to rest in the guest bath. Not her first choice, but she manages. BTW, that IS a full-size bathtub she's leaning back on. |
