Live Greek Music
Greek music is not put on specially for tourists in Pelion. You may, however, catch live Greek music on any night in a local taverna, if someone is having a celebration.
In the height of the summer Rembekiko singers come to Penguinos in Agios Andreas to sing and play bouzouki throughout the night.
The taverna in the Argalasti platia has music throughout the year on Saturday nights. During the summer the music is shifted to the beach at Prortaria.
The En Plo taverna in Milina holds live music nights throughout the summer. This is usually Greek rock and other modern electronic styles.

Saint Days and Name Days
There are a great many Saints Days in Greece, often combining with Name Days. These are always a good excuse for a knees-up! Local live bands are hired and the party kicks off around 11pm. These usually run through until well into the next morning. Ag Panayiotis is a major feast day, held on 15th August. Music will be playing from all the tavernas all night!
