BOAT CONNECTIONS FROM SKIATHOS
Flying Dolphin - hydrofoil and car ferry connections are available to Volos. Sporades Travel can arrange your hydrofoil ticket in advance. The hydrofoil takes one hour, the ferry takes two. Volos is 35 miles from Milina. A daily ferry runs between Skiathos and Platania, a small fishing village in South Pelion. Platanias is a short taxi ride away (approximately 10 miles).

BOAT CONNECTIONS FROM ITALY
If you have the time to travel by car across Europe, then you can catch a ferry from Venice, Ancona, Bari or Brindisi to Igoumenitsa or Patras. Igoumenitsa is in the north of Greece, and the car journey to Pelion takes you past Meteora. Patras is in the south, and the car journey takes you past Delphi. The boat departs from Venice Island, giving you outstanding panoramic views across Venice.
