The heart of the Little Shop of Physics is our traveling program. Each year, we visit about 40 different schools, and present programs to approximately 20,000 K-12 students. The key element of the Little Shop of Physics traveling program is that it is all hands-on: every student that we visit has the chance to work with all of our experiments.

Besides doing school programs, the Little Shop of Physics presents teacher workshops, hosts an annual open house, and produces a television show in cooperation with the local Poudre School District. Recently, the Little Shop has developed a partnership with CMMAP, the Center for Multiscale Modeling of Atmospheric Processes. Brian and the crew are working with CMMAP to develop hands-on experiments, teacher workshops and television programs related to the science of the atmosphere and the work of CMMAP.

Besides the Little Shop of Physics, Brian does other things, like teaching undergraduate classes at CSU and supervising the undergraduate teaching labs in the Physics Department.
