Houston, we have income


Collected the check from That Company today, and successfully cashed it at my bank. Here's hoping they release cash deposits sooner than checks ... Oh well. The landlord has been gracious enough anyway.

And speaking of graciousness, it's possible I could have temp work for two weeks in November, through a friend in my Brooklyn Bible study. Will see what comes of that, but it could be a great opportunity (nice, bounded assignment, better income than I'd get through a temp agency, etc.).

More blogging once I'm rested and recovered from Boston's historic win (yeah, Sox!). Though blogging has been light on this site, there's actually a long-n-thoughtful money post rolling around the ankles of the gray matter.
