Gimme, gimme!


The birthday-gift wish list:

For the record, I'm still eyeing a pastry blender. In terms of strictly practical matters, I could also make excellent use of Metrocards (pay-as-you-go or unlimited) or a bike.

But on to that less-practical thing, the book. I hear Anti-Americanism, And the Band Played On and AIDS Update 2004 should all be on my list. Light reading I crave: Status Anxiety and Art of Travel (both by my fave author, Alain de Botton).

Other fun stuff I lust for includes Yellow Tail Shiraz and Shiraz-Cabernet, Nina Simone Sings the Blues, and, well, a hard drive. (Hey, every wish-list has to include one "dream" item, right?!!)
