nyj51: picture yourself ...

While on a walk around Prospect Park this afternoon, I plucked from the ground my first leaf of autumn:

Shown here on my doorstep.

Thanks to the very-crude camera on my new phone, I now possess the most rudimentary ability to photoblog. Aren't you excited?

And speaking of photos, mine may soon be on display in a New York coffee shop ... somewhere. Sunday I met with a group of people organizing two small group shows to be displayed in an Upper East Side coffee shop practically in the East River, and today I got a call about hanging my prints at the Park Slope Starbucks in my 'hood. A few weeks ago, I had dropped off a business card there, but never bothered to follow up on a possible show. Whoever took my card made a note about photography, though, and I got a call today! Could be interesting. I'm supposed to take sample prints by on Tuesday.

One final note on pictures: thanks to the new photophone, I am finally able to add that image you've all been waiting for: a picture of the much-talked-about T&A construction van. I still think it sounds like a plastic-surgery outfit...
