What is Little Flock all about?
Little Flock is an interdenominational charismatic Christian Bible Study founded by Dr. Scott and Christine Northrup in 1985. We have been meeting on Monday nights 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. every week for almost 20 years. We currently meet in the home of Scott and Chris at 628 Rice Circle in Cookeville, Tennessee. All who have an earnest desire to draw closer to God through the study of His Word are welcome. Each meeting consists of four major emphases: Worship, the Ministry of Prayer, Fellowship, and Word study. Scott and Chris lead the worship on the guitar and percussion. We pray fervently for the needs of our group and for those whom God lays on our hearts, and have seen tremendous results through God's answers. We have a time of fellowship, and then Scott teaches from the Bible. God has led us to offer financial and prayer support for the work of Don and Jacquie Cartledge in Chile and a couple in southeast Asia. We are also partners with Kenneth Copeland Ministries. We began in the Methodist charismatic renewal in 1985, originally meeting at 1st United Methodist Church of Cookeville, TN, then later at the Tennessee Tech Wesley Foundation. Our present spiritual covering is Trinity Assembly of God in Algood, TN, of which we are a cell group. Many of our members attend Trinity, but not all.
