CUT OUT PAINTINGS 1962-1964 A new kind of "Expressionism" which plays AE gestures, feelings and shapes against 3D space, and forms, and attempts for unification.
 
Back in LA, I still felt a kinship with AE, but it wasn't my generation. It was over. But, I attempted to create new imagery by combining the expressive paint and shapes of AE with 3D space.
