Beautifully embroidered cream silk shawl from the turn of the century Stunning hand-embroidered cream silk shawl. most-likely from the victorian period.The stunning and beautifully-executed floral embrodiery is in silk thread. All edges are finished with intricate tassle work in silk thread. In very good wearable condition. Has 2cm by 1cm mark which has worn and been mended on lower front. Also a couple of very small markson other parts which are hardly noticeable. Pretty white edwardian cotton lawn camisole top Hand-made fine white cotton lawn camisole top. Hand-embrodiered motifs on each side of front and one on centre back. Sleeves and neckline edged in cotton lace. Has 3 small buttons and 2 press studs to close at front. Also draw-string tie to gather in around hem.In good condition with no stains or tears. Still wearable. Large size.
