Classic 1950's black cotton blend dress with original swing tags Chic New Look styling made famous by Dior in the late 40s. Fabulous mercerised cotton blend (has slight sheen) dress by Jane Parker with wonderful large shawl collar. The fitted bodice crosses over at the front and closes with two black decorative buttons. Has three-quarter length dolamin sleeves and tie belt in same fabric. Full skirt is softly gathered at waist. This dress is not lined but does have an extra panel of fabric on the inside back. Please note: I used an extra crinoline for the photo which is not included in price. This dress is in mint, never-worn condition. Size small (approx AU 8) but please check sizing to be sure. Divine 50s lilac floral cotton dress Genuine vintage sun dress from the 1950s in a lovely medium-weight polished cotton. No label but definitely looks to be professionally made and finished. The floral design is in shades of lilac and green on a white background. The fitted bodice has a scooped neckline which is lower at the back. It has double shoe-string shoulder straps and is finished off with seven self-covered buttons down the front. The gorgeous full skirt is gathered at the waist which is finished off with a piped trim. The bodice only is lined in cotton. Closes at the back with a long metal zip. Please note I have photographed it with an extra full crinoline to show how the dress was originally worn which is not included in the price. Condition: Very good. Fabulous 1980s gold beaded pure silk mini dress by Oleg Cassini Photos don't do this dress justice. Superb quality, beaded vintage 80s dress by BlackTie, Oleg Cassini. (Oleg Cassini was a famous French Born american designer who is reported to have designed over 300 dresses for Jacqueline Kennedy. Slinky fitted style with the top layer of dress comprising sewn on tiny gold beads in a fabulous leaf design and trimmed with larger gold beads around neckline, straps and armholes. Has 4 straps at the back connecting the neckline with the low back. The shell which is the layer the sequins are sewn on is black silk and the lining is black rayon. It is originally from the US but labelled made in China (who else would have the patience to sew all those sequins on). Closes at the back with a long nylon zip. Condition Excellent vintage condition. Shows no signs of wear with all beads and sequins in place. Size Very small (approx AU 6-8) Is marked vintage US 6 but please check sizing.
