Delightful vintage 1930s long dress with set in decorative raised trim So rare to find such a lovely wearable dress from the 30s in such great condition. Beautifully hand made in pink medium-weight rayon satin which gives it such a lovely drape.The bodice is gathered at the shoulder yoke and V-shaped band at waist. The gorgeous puff sleeves have the same stand-up corded trim as the skirt. The sleeves are lined in cotton tulle to give them the great shape. The long skirt is A-shaped sitting flat over waist and top of hips. The dress has 2 ties that tie at back to pull waist in and it closes at the side with large press studs. Dazzling 1920s chiffon flapper dress with heavy tambour beading and rhinestones Amazing example of 1920s style. Originally purchased from an estate sale in USA.Stunning 1920s black chiffon flapper dress beautifully beaded in tambour style. Between the beading on the hip section it is decorated with sparkling rhinestones. Has long sleeves which is unusual for this era. These could easily be removed if desired. The hem of the skirt is scalloped and covered in beading. Has a free shaped black silk petticoat In excellent condition for it's age. Only issue is some loose beading and some small sections of beading are missing. This doesn't detract from the dress at all. It still could be worn but with extra care. Elegant 1948 long gown with small train This gorgeous long gown was originally made as a bridesmaid's dress in 1948. Simply styled with fitted bodice with slight ruching at front. Decorated with same fabric roulette trim around the top and down the centre front seam. Has small frilled trim around extended armholes and drop waist. The skirt is cut on the cross to fall beautifully from the hips.Does up at the back with 28 self-covered buttons and button loops. Has a 25cm (10inches) train at the back. Made from a medium blue net lace-look synthetic fabric. In very good condition. The lining of the self covered buttons has yellowed over the years and there have been a couple of very small mends which are very hard to detect. Underarm to underarm 43cm (17 inches)
