In June 2008, the first Salon type recital was held at LFM studio, with the beautiful new Steinway B. Despite crowded conditions, all performers played exceedingly well. There was a delightful potluck picnic as part of the festivities. Some snapshots from the picnic are here...
On Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Jacobs Music in Willow Grove, Visual Pianist Hugh Sung presented a fascinating and inspiring Visual Recital Workshop. He presented a demonstration of artistic and pedagogical techniques combining synchronized visuals with live performance. Mr. Sung's innovative performance was sponsored by the Northern Delaware Valley Chapter of PMTA. Students and teachers alike were captivated by his enthusiastic presentation, and left the workshop wanting to explore the many possibilities of the Visual Recital concept.
Mr. Sung maintains an active website (www.HughSung.com) which combines his love of music and passion for technology. This is a rich resource for musicians looking for a friendly place to learn more about adopting technology to enhance their art and lifestyle. On Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 1:30 pm, at Jacobs Music in Willow Grove, Dr. Thomas Mastroianni and Dr. Stephen Ackert presented a fascinating lecture and recital, entitled "Poetry, Painting and the Piano".
Dr. Mastroianni is a recipient of the Franz Liszt Medal of the Hungarian Liszt Society, and is currently President of the American Liszt Society. This event also included an Honors Recital by students of the Northern Delaware Valley Chapter of the PMTA.

On Saturday, June 10, students from LFM Piano Studio performed in recital at Immaculata University, to raise funds for the Hope for Henry Foundation, a wonderful outreach providing encouragement to critically ill children.

On Sunday, November 6, students from LFM Piano Studio performed in recital at the Philadelphia Music Teachers Association Fall Recital at Jacobs Music in downtown Philadelphia.
On Saturday, May 7 students from LFM Piano Studio performed in recital at Jacobs Music in Willow Grove, PA and we enjoyed perfect weather for a picnic afterward at LFM Studio.
On Sunday, April 17 we had the distinct pleasure of enjoying a master class / lecture entitled Reintroducing Bach to Children by Paul Sheftel at Jacobs Music in Willow Grove, PA. Thirteen students from the Northern Delaware Valley chapter of PMTA participated, and over 90 students, teachers and parents attended.
Students from LFM Studio participated in the "Peace Piano" event at the Kimmel Center on Saturday morning, October 23, 2004 to raise funds for the humanitarian outreach of UNICEF.
