Our Wedding in Eldoret, Kenya

Sure, we were already technically married twice back in California, but we wanted to have a Catholic wedding and a traditional Kikuyu wedding in Kenya too, so we did.

We arrived on time.
My dad looks sort of like a foreign ambassador in the traditional Kikuyu getup.
Annette and John.
She arrived more than 1 hour late, traditional African timing.
Yes, this way please. The groom is this way.
I was putting the ring on her finger.
My eyes were irritated from the smog, so woops, they were closed here.
Annette convinces them they'll find their own Muzungu one day.
Anh has a lot of admirers in Kenya. Here, they hang on her every word.
At the fortified gates of Maina's fortress.
No idea what they are saying but it is about me.
Daddy warbucks shells out the shillings for the dowry.
I have a following. I seem to appeal to the young ones, don't know why.
I knew it was her all along.
Watiri and I, both wearing traditional Kikuyu wedding outfits.
She's feeding me yucky porrige. I really wanted a beer.
It all tastes like liver, except for the muscle tissue.
Ambassador Hall likes the meaty morsels.
