I made it!
I caught two sessions this morning, Stash DVD magazine and the "The Big Ideal," presented by the gently humorous and wickedly smart Steve Hayden, Ogilvy Worldwide Vice Chairman. Whether it was a matter of timing or interest level, the Stash presentation was sparsely attended, but The Big Ideal was packed. I sat on the carpet.
Lito (Gemora) is here, with Gavin. (Yippee, familiar faces at last.) I was wondering if we could have lunch, but apparently the Ogilvy gang were going to hang out by their hotel pool and chill. So that's how I decided that, overcast or not, I would get myself down to the beach. It was more straightforward an operation than I thought. A bougainvillea-lined walkway leads directly out of the hotel to the beach.
That's my beach bag, my beach mag, the slippers without arch support, and the hotel towel.
