Off to Cannes.
I am at the airport, waiting to board my flight to
Hong Kong, and from there to CDG and Nice. Mary and I will be traveling tonight
and tomorrow. I've never been to the Cannes Lions Festival in my almost-20 years
in advertising. My bag weighed in at 23 kilos. After the festival, we'll be
touring a bit of Provence and Paris.
My wish list:
1) An Oldwin pen from Mora Stylos
2) Serendipitous pen finds in a weekend flea market
3) Fumerie Turque from the Serge Lutens fragrance line
4) A top from Madonna's H&M line
5) A Lion of any color
The Oldwin I want is in red mottled rubber, similar to the old Waterman 52 in the photo.
