The Krone Architectus Westminster is here!

I never thought I'd own a Krone. The ones I've seen online are a) freakishly ornate, and b) freakishly expensive.
When the opportunity came to buy this one, at a price I could almost afford (in installments), I didn't jump. At first. I really loved the way it looked - so slumming Goth - but that it had a standard medium nib, and not a fine flex or stub nib, made me hesitate. I am not a fan of medium nibs. They are so, well, medium.
I'm happy I changed my mind. It is a pen of some weight, and the charcoal-gray resin with embedded, sparkling mica and the sterling silver overlay are ornate without being off-putting. The nib was as I expected, laying down a consistent medium line. It is now a stubbish medium, thanks to 2000 grit sandpaper and a polishing cylinder.
(The bracelet is made of leather and sterling silver dragon sections. I picked it up in a store in MBK Bangkok a year ago. The bracelet and the pen look like they could be good friends one day.)
