For
"The Two Towers," the second
film in the Lord
of the Rings Trilogy, I worked mostly on the integration (rendering and
lighting) of Gollum into live-action scenes. There was an actor
on set who played the role for the benefit of the other actors, but
Gollum as seen in the film was rendered as an entirely digital
