We Lees are very
ordinary and very average -- until Jesus is added to the
mix.
The words of Paul the
Apostle to Titus say it all: "At one time we were foolish, disobedient,
deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and
pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and
hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God
our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous
things we had done, but because of his mercy... And having
been justified by his grace, we have become heirs having the
hope of eternal life" (Titus 3:3).
Yes, that describes us Lees
all right, together with the impact of God on our lives.
The
Sisaala, a people
group living in northwest Ghana, don't yet know that the
kindness and love of God our Savior has appeared for their
sakes too. We've been called to share the good news of this
gospel with them, to be among those who will tell
them that new life, eternal life, is available in Jesus Christ. Here, in the
mean time, are a few words about our own lives in
Christ...
