Metropolitan Museum of Art - Saturday, February 12, 2007 - one-day Sketching Session with Brian Bomeisler

~ to sketch (these all created with fine felt tip writing pen, a well-licked finger, and lots of smudging)
~ to observe one piece for upwards of 30 minutes, though time had no meaning & was uncovered only upon asking Brian how long had we been sketching
~ to become so immersed that all sounds of others disappeared
~ to appreciate, marvel, question and wonder
~ to draw what I see
~ to enjoy
