Deborah A. Logan

Ms. Logan, an attorney since 1989, has extensive experience with all aspects of litigation through counseling, arbitration, mediation, settlement negotiations, bench and jury trials in a variety of state, federal and alternative dispute resolution forums. She has served as both a court appointed arbitrator and mediator to assist in resolution of civil cases and additionally, as a Moot Court Judge for competition at the high school level.

Ms. Logan holds an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from
Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. In 1983, she received a grant from the United States Department of Energy to study nuclear physics at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. While an undergraduate, and for three years thereafter, she worked as a bench scientist at Collaborative Research Inc. (now Oscient Pharmaceuticals Corp.) in the development of Inter-leukin-2. Clinical trials of Interleukin-2 led to approval by the FDA for use in improvement of the immune system of patients with some types of cancer as well as acquired immune deficiency syndrome. She subsequently left the scientific field to attend law school and earned her J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating, she relocated to California, settling in Silicon Valley, where she gained an entrepreneurial spirit while practicing law for nearly a dozen years before returning to the East Coast.
