CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- LendingTree, LLC, today announced it has obtained a license from Real Estate Alliance Ltd. (REAL) for its patented REAL989(TM) map search functionality for use on the LendingTree-owned RealEstate.com Web site.
Under this agreement, RealEstate.com will become a fully licensed nationwide user of REAL's patents, granted by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 1989 and 1991, and will incorporate its user-friendly mapping and zooming interfaces to enhance the RealEstate.com customer interaction -- making it easier for people to search for and find homes for sale in neighborhoods where they want to live.
