Using Mapei mastic, coloring pigment, stained glass, 24 K gold smalti and colorati, vitreous glass and regular smalti. Embedding without grout. VETRO TESSUTO/WEAVING IN GLASS WHAT TO BRING: OPTIONAL: small objects, charms, trinkets, costume jewelry, coins, etc. for adding a personal touch BRING FOOD FOR A POT LUCK LUNCH GOOD TEMPERED GLASS  / 2 DAY WORKSHOP Learn the art of mosaic collage using plate glass and safety glass (crash glass) with epoxy and slow baking, overlaying: metallics, tissue, foils, glitter and milar and more.  We will be grouting finished pieces the last day for take home. We will do 2 projects. WHAT TO BRING: Small images, stamps, gift wrapping, photos, any thing small & flat. WHAT TO BRING: 1 Picture frame, inset should measure 5"X7" Do Not remove glass! BRING FOOD FOR A POTLUCK LUNCH Wear appropriate clothes for mixing epoxy & grout LIGHT SWITCH COVERS 1/2 DAY Mosaic 2 to 4 switch plates, turn those old plastic ones into art! WHAT TO BRING: 1 plastic light switch plate (I supply the rest) INDIRECT METHOD  / 2 DAY WORKSHOP  We will work in the indirect method. All pieces will be worked in reverse on an adhesive mounting tape, pre-grouted, then set into a mastic bed, assuring a smooth finished surface. WHAT TO BRING: a small table or barstool (approximately 1 ft surface area) BRING FOOD FOR A POTLUCK LUNCH  Wear appropriate clothing for grouting MOSAIC SHOE PREPARATION - 1/2 DAY We will work wirh either ridgid wrap & plaster or sculpting epoxy, baking to get a soft shoe firm and ready to accept tiles. Gesso will also be applied (small shoes look better!) WHAT TO BRING: 1 Shoe, Preferrably backless with a closed toe and any type of heel STEPPING STONES - Indirect Method / 1 DAY WORKSHOP Create your own garden stones, learn the indirect method.  Learn to pour your concrete, cut and shape your tiles, and more.
