Hello!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and reading
this first entry, I'm so happy that you have gotten this far! My
name Laura
Novak and I own a wedding & portrait
photography studio based out of Wilmington, Delaware. In addition to the
photography studio, I have also been blessed with wonderful family &
friends, as well as the world's best fiance, John! Here you can find all sorts
of entertaining information about what's going on with my business, my life, and
my own wedding plans. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts and

Interior Designer Search
Hello loyal blog readers! I'm currently
looking for an interior designer who I can work with on a top secret special
project that I'm in the process of creating. It can't be someone just starting
out - I need a designer who already has a strong client base and has completed
residential interior design
projects.

Bring it to the Beaches!
It's getting to be about that time when the
kids are starting to be released from school and everyone heads down to the
beach for some summer fun! Last year we had such a great time photographing
families at the beach that we have extended our
Bring it to the
Beaches days this summer.
They are:
Thursday, July 26th - Bethany Beach, DE
Saturday, July 28th - Avalon, NJ
Tuesday, August 7th - Rehoboth Beach, DE
Thursday, August 9th - Bethany Beach, DE
Monday, August 13th - Hamptons, NY
Tuesday, August 14th - Hamptons, NY
There are three time slots available on each day - 5:15, 6:20 and 7:30 and each session is one hour long. The pricing is our standard outdoor session fee of $250 but with the normal beach travel fee of $300+ waived. There will be a newsletter going out in a few weeks announcing the beach days but our loyal blog readers will first pick of their time and day choice! Please call the studio at 302.656.5274 to schedule your photo session. For orders placed at $1500 or above, you will receive a beautiful complimentary photo tote bag from your beach session.

Tommy DiLorenzo
If you are local photographer you probably
already know, but our fellow colleague Pam
DiLorenzo lost her husband unexpectedly due to heart failure last
Thursday. You can learn more about Tommy by reading his obituary here.
The best aspect to Pam and Tommy's relationship is that after eleven years of marriage they were still very much in love. Tommy used to carry around a framed photo of Pam in his briefcase just so she was with him throughout the day. Their story was love at first sight, which continued into having a family and growing together in love as the years went by. We need to all remember how important it is to be in love, and stay in love as life's journey carries on. They continuously worked on their relationship and focused on what makes one another happy by supporting each other and always assuming the best in one another. I personally used their relationship as a point of reference of what I hoped to one day have myself.
Pam will be taking a bereavement leave from work throughout May and June during this difficult time. If you have any questions about her weddings or what will be happening, please feel free to email me and I will reply as soon as I can. All weddings are being covered by area photographers per a subcontract agreement I created with Pam's office.

blue is the new pink is the orange is the new blog
I remember way back to about a year and a half
ago, I started this blog. People often asked "Is it a journal, do you have a
new website, are you getting rid of your old site?" Since then blogs have come
a long way, specifically photographer blogs. This past year I decided to split
my blog into two different sites: my photoblog which illustrates my most recent
favorite photographs and this personal blog that provides clients and friends
with a little bit of insight as to what is going on in my
life.
