Professional Photographer Magazine for their ongoing support of my photography
business! I was really excited to see this article appear and I think that the
writer, Lorna Gentry, and the layout experts did a wonderful job putting
together the piece. The cover photo is by my good friends The
Bebbs who I will be speaking with this October in
Vancouver!

today I will download the photos and share with you how the day went. But in
the meantime, I was so excited to hear that People Magazine : Real Weddings had
been released on the news stands with a beautiful photo accompanying Angie and
Ed's love story:
![]() Angie is an amazing person and I could not be more thrilled that she is my first full page features in a national magazine. At times I might hear brides talk about weather not being what they were hoping, or the limo wasn't what they were expecting. And while I can completely understand that can be disappointing, I never once heard Angie express any words of frustration that she spent most of her wedding day in her wheelchair (or figuring out how not to have it shown in the photos!). She approaches life with such grace & humor...Ed is her best match, biggest supporter and one of the most good-natured people I have ever met. I have to share that when this editorial request came up, I ran it by Angie and she was thrilled with the opportunity. When I found Angie and Ed were going to have going to have a nice sized spread, I closed my office door and started to cry at my desk. Not necessarily because of the press opportunity that existed for me, but because I had this sudden realization that there are probably thousands of women out there challenges - not just physical but all sorts of types of challenges - in their lives that could be inspired by Angie. And what more could I ask for in my life than for my art to be a channel of that message? Thank you, Angie & Ed, for giving me the opportunity to be part of your day. I can truly say I am a better person because of it. Posted at 11:05 AM | Thu - May 31, 2007Elisa & Brian - 08.12.06Congratulations to Elisa & Brian, featured
in this summer's Knot Philadelphia Magazine! Such a great beach wedding with
fun, colorful details at one of my favorite locations: Rehoboth Beach Country
Club. Thank you also to Barb Warren and David DiRentis who are both great
photographers in their own right and helped to make this wedding coverage
wonderful!
![]() ![]() Posted at 01:39 PM | Thu - May 24, 2007Glamour Magazine and Amanda's InterviewAmanda and I are so excited that the photo I
took of her husband Brett at their wedding last February is in this Month's
Glamour Magazine!
![]() ![]() To celebrate this fun feature I put together a fun three question Glamour-Style FAQ for Amanda to learn more about this 'real wedding moment' and her life as a newlywed! LN: what was going through your head at the time that photo was taken? AD: I had spent a good 3 days working on my vows and I was probably more nervous to recite them, than to actually get married! I think I asked Brett 5 times if he was totally sure that he wanted to memorize them. He said "yes definitely". So at this moment, Brett made this face right before he pulled out the piece of paper where his vows were written. He knew that he was in trouble and all I could do was laugh. LN: as you look back on your wedding day, what is the best moment you have in your memory? AD: The best moment had to be the first time I saw Brett as I walked down the aisle with my dad. I was also seeing the incredible ceremony space that was created for us and all of our friends and family. It was overwhelming. I saw Brett start to well up with tears as I made my way down the aisle. I'll never forget that moment. LN: if you had to do it over again, would you have made any changes to your wedding? AD: I am so happy with the decisions I made for my wedding. So many people say that "it's only 1 day" and that you shouldn't waste so much time and money on something that goes by so fast. But I would not change one thing. It was the best day of our lives and the most beautiful wedding I could ever ask for. I loved all my vendors, loved that it was in the winter and loved our location. I wouldn't change a thing! And just for fun, here is a photo of Amanda AND Brett from their wedding day: ![]() Posted at 04:33 PM | Tue - May 15, 2007The Best of WeddingsThank you to all the Knotties who voted for me
in last year's Best of Weddings contest! We were chosen to be a few 'best of'
wedding photographers in the Philadelphia area, a great honor. Please be sure
to keep us in mind when the June issue hits the stands next
month!
