After the Mamma Mia! publicity tour and a commercial shoot in New York, Pierce will begin filming The Greatest with Susan Sarandon.

Caitlin is currently in production, and The Topkapi Affair, a.k.a. The Thomas Crown Affair 2, is currently in pre-production. Caitlin is supposed to be released sometime this year with Topkapi set for release in 2009. Vanilla Gorilla has been put on hold for now.

Pierce was recently announced for the film The Ghost, set for release in 2009. The film also stars Nicholas Cage (National Treasure, Ghost Rider).

The entire Remington Steele series is out on four DVD sets (the last containing the fourth season and the alleged "fifth season," a.k.a. the last six episodes). Seraphim Falls had a limited (VERY limited) release in the U.S. in 2007. But don't fret if you didn't get a chance to see it. The movie hit DVD on May 15.

Daniel Craig won rave reviews for his role as the new James Bond in Casino Royale, taking over a role at which Pierce excelled. Pierce's Bond films brought in $1.5 billion of the $4 billion in profits from all of the Bond films combined. That's more than 37% of the total profits coming from just four of the 20 Bond films.

Just call him "Dr. Brosnan." Pierce received an honorary degree from the University College Cork in Ireland on June 4. He received an honorary doctorate of law.
